The Trail Challenge groups multiple race options under one event page. Staff can publish the event, maintain race metadata, and expose a public event/race URL while mobile athletes see a premium event card inside Gurkha Fit.

Each event gets a public landing page, race cards, route stats, checkpoint details, app visibility, and admin preview links.

BACKEND ADMIN
The event admin needs to edit event details, approve or reject people, issue joining codes, and monitor live GPS once the race starts. Published race URLs stay stable for marketing and race-day operations.
Staff define title, slug, dates, location, imagery, sponsors, and publish state from the admin portal.
Distances, categories, route colors, checkpoints, services, and public URLs live under the event record.
Published events expose /events, /events/[eventSlug], and /events/[eventSlug]/[raceSlug] URLs.
LIVE TRACKING
Live GPS is visible only for accepted participants during the event window and only to approved event admins.
Use battery-aware uploads, route snapshots, and Supabase Broadcast for the live command view when tracking is wired.
The official GPX/GeoJSON route should be verified from real course data before timing and off-course alerts become official.
